Chicago Charter Bus Pro Tips

At Greater Chicago Charter Bus, we have years of experience connecting groups with bus rentals in Chicago for all kinds of occasions. From full-size charter buses for event and concert transportation to airport shuttle buses for visiting talent performing at United Center, there’s nothing we can’t help you with. Below are some of our pro tips for attending shows or concerts in Chicago with a group based on our extensive knowledge.

  • To reconnect with your group after the concert, consider starting a text chain or group chat through another app like Messenger or WhatsApp and make sure everyone has notifications on. Or set a designated time and meet up place for after the show. When you book with us, your charter bus driver will be easy to reach via phone and can meet at the pick up point once you’ve got your group together.
  • A Chicago bus rental saves time and energy as opposed to a rideshare or taking the CTA. You don’t have to fight with crowds and can even enjoy extra amenities like WiFi, power outlets, and TVs. It can also be safer, especially for tourists, as the red line that leads to major stadiums like Wrigley Field is known for having a higher crime rate
  • Be sure to check out any local laws about engine idling—for example, the state of Illinois has an idling limit of 15 minutes, but Chicago itself has a three minute limit. If your event or venue is slightly outside the city limits of Chicago, you may have to adhere to different rules.

We want you to have a fun, stress-free group travel experience. That’s why we are giving you all the insider tips and info about where to pick up, drop off, and park a charter bus at some of Chicago’s most popular stadiums and arenas. Read on to learn more!
